ENROL NOW FOR UNIQUE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY BROUGHT TO UK BY CUBO AND ACUHO-I

CUBO and leading US training association, ACUHO-I, have come together to break new ground and bring the first Global Housing Training Institute (GHTI) to Europe in 2019, launching a five-day immersive training event for student housing managers.

The programme – which launches (November 13th – 18th) with an initial programme hosted at The University of Edinburgh, provides an exceptional professional development experience for advancing managers working in student accommodation and is the ONLY intense professional development opportunity for student accommodation professionals to be offered in the UK.

The GHTI is based on the very successful NHTI in the USA (and similar events in Australia and South Africa. The content will focus on key ACUHO-I domains and core competencies and be led by a faculty of international and UK experts. Individual mentoring, during and after the programme is another key element of this innovative course.

CUBO, Jan Capper explains:

“We are very proud to have partnered ACUHO-I to bring this personal development opportunity to the UK, in a move which we know will add benefit and value to universities and private providers working in commercial services on campuses across the UK….

“The programme brings together the best of global and UK expertise, and is suitable for those currently working in a number of roles within student accommodation.

“It includes intensive learning, engagement, reflection and networking and is personalised directly for campus housing professionals helping them gain the skills and competencies needed to meet the current and future demands of the profession and giving access to fresh and inspired ideas, alongside exceptional practices to help them thrive in their current roles and support future career development”.

“For those individuals wishing to widen their knowledge, skills base, and establish a lasting peer network, the course offers a unique opportunity to get ahead.”

The GHTI will be available to both CUBO members (with a significant discount), and private providers – typically those who have been working in the sector for 2 – 3 years already. For further details, check out:
